February trip to Utah

The weekend of February 15 found us on our way over the tundra known as I-80 for a visit to Utah. Scott wanted to go over to ordain his brother Gary a high priest so here is some documentation of our travels.

Scott checking the oil at Laramie.
"Arsnic" Circle in Green River for lunch.

Evanston rest stop with all the snow.
Visiting with Aunt Clela in Salt Lake City
in the rest home.

The Bald-Headed Brothers outside the church. Carol joined Gary for a picture.

On our way back to Colorado we stayed the night in the Rock Springs Motel 6. Yeehaw!

Hey, it's nice to see you updated your blog!! Looking at those pictures makes me cold! I'm so glad it's not cold and snowy anymore. I'm enjoying the warmer weather, that's for sure!

Ummm...hello Wyoming Winter! What died & crawled onto Dad's head in that first photo (ha,ha)? You guys take the funniest pictures of each other. The photos of the family with Clela, Uncle Gary, and Aunt Carol are great. Sounds like it was a special visit.
(P.S. Nice ending with the modern-day American Gothic in a Motel 6 pose.)
