Message on Table Mountain

In case anybody hadn't heard (as if they lived under a rock) The Democratic National Convention was held down the way from me in the illustrious town of Denver. But on my way to school last Wed. morning up on the mountain was this message. My school sits just underneath this mountain so of course this was the topic of conversation from all the kids as they got off the school bus that morning. We were told by the principal that if the kids asked us what it meant to just tell them it is a political statement they need to talk to their parents about. I don't disagree with the message but I wish that they would keep their rhetoric downtown and not spill (or spell) it out here in the suburbs. Those letters are yellow and white sheets held by people so the wind did not blow it away. The sheriff's office was notified and the protesters were told to leave so by noon they had rolled up their sheets and hiked on down.

Good Grief, they were probably parents of some of the elementary kids at your school among other fanatic people. Yes Denver is so "Liberal" to host Obama and crew. Glad you all survived and like all great rallies of the moment it will all be forgotten in a day or two.

That's kind of a weird location. I'll bet it was nice to see the political circus leave town.
